What Can You Outsource?

I  wrote recently about not having to do it all yourself in your business.  Why be the accountant and the errand boy, SEO expert & on-line marketing genius if you don’t have to be.

But what to outsource and how?

To outsource some of your day to day responsibilities takes planning and forethought.  You could delegate everything, leaving the running of your business to strangers, but that would probably back fire & leave you in a pile of poop.

What you can do is look at the tasks you do on a daily, weekly, monthly or even yearly basis which  you are no good at (!), you don’t have time for or that you require additional skills for.  There’s no need to learn Dreamweaver, for example, if you can find someone who has the skills & experience already and can take over the task of regularly updating your website.

But that’s just one idea.

So this is a call to action.  Take a few minutes each day to record what you do, when you do it, even how long it takes you.  From this list you should be able to see what you want to keep in house and what you could, ideally, outsource.

Happy list-keeping!
